Our Commitment
Modern slavery is a serious crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It can take many forms, including slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, child labour and human trafficking, all of which involve the exploitation of individuals for personal or commercial gain.
We are committed to taking appropriate steps to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chains and to conducting our business in accordance with the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
We expect the same high standards from our suppliers, contractors, service providers and other business partners. We will not knowingly work with any organisation that uses or tolerates forced, compulsory or trafficked labour, slavery, servitude or the exploitation of children or vulnerable people.
Where appropriate, we expect our suppliers and business partners to apply equivalent standards within their own organisations and supply chains.
Who This Policy Applies To
This policy applies to all persons working for us or on our behalf in any capacity, including directors, employees, agency workers, contractors, consultants, representatives and business partners.
Responsibilities
Everyone working for or on behalf of our business has a responsibility to remain alert to the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking and to avoid any activity that could lead to or suggest a breach of this policy.
Any concerns or suspected instances of modern slavery, human trafficking or other exploitation within our business or supply chain should be reported promptly to a director or senior member of management.
We will take all concerns seriously, investigate them appropriately and take action where necessary.
Any employee found to have breached this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal for gross misconduct. We may also terminate our relationship with suppliers, contractors or other business partners who fail to meet the standards set out in this policy.
Our Supply Chain
We seek to work with reputable suppliers and business partners who share our commitment to ethical and responsible business practices.
As our business and supply chains develop, we will continue to assess appropriate measures to identify and manage the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking and, where necessary, strengthen our procedures and controls.
Review
We will review this policy periodically to ensure that it remains appropriate to our business, operations and supply chains.
